At the heart of this transformation will be our people. In conjunction with the launch of Bord na Móna Annual Report 2008-2009, CEO Gabriel D’Arcy announced on, 20 July 2009, the creation of 300 new green jobs across Ireland. This announcement comes on the back of the publication of strong financial figures for the past year and the announcement of ambitious sustainability targets for the company over the next five years.

The jobs will be created in green energy, resource recovery and environmental solutions using Bord na Móna’s innovative green technologies.
